The Jules Tacheny Circuit once again roared to life this weekend for the Ford Steveny Superbiker 2025, reaffirming its status as the world\u2019s number one supermoto event. Under bright autumn skies, more than 20,000 spectators enjoyed three days of thrilling racing, entertainment, and camaraderie.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marc-Reiner Schmidt Crowned Once Again with an Eighth Victory<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Ford Steveny Superbiker 2025<\/strong> delivered world-class racing action, culminating in an explosive grand final on Sunday that brought together sixteen of the best riders from the S1GP World Championship<\/strong>, the Starbikers<\/strong>, and the top qualifiers from the national heats.<\/p>\n

A sensational Marc-Reiner Schmidt<\/strong> (TM, Team Undici) claimed victory ahead of Lukas H\u00f6llbacher<\/strong> (KTM, Schruf Racing) after an intense battle from start to finish. This marks the eighth win<\/strong> at Mettet for the German rider \u2014 extending his own record and securing his well-deserved nickname: \u201cThe King of Mettet.\u201d<\/em> The podium was completed by Steve Bonnal<\/strong> (TM, TSV Factory Team TM Corse), the 2025 French Supermoto Champion.<\/p>\n

The Georges Job\u00e9 Trophy<\/strong>, awarded to the best Belgian rider in the Superbiker final, went to Tom Rolin<\/strong>, a promising talent from the Belgian Motorcycle Academy<\/strong> and member of the Junior Black Knights Team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the FIM Supermoto S1GP World Championship final<\/strong> also lived up to expectations. Already crowned five-time World Champion<\/strong>, Marc-Reiner Schmidt added the Grand Prix of Belgium<\/strong> to his name after a flawless weekend and a perfectly managed season. His closest rivals, Lukas H\u00f6llbacher<\/strong> and Steve Bonnal<\/strong>, finished second and third respectively. Once again, Belgium\u2019s Romain Kaivers<\/strong> delivered a solid performance, taking an impressive sixth place<\/strong> in front of his home crowd.<\/p>\n

Category Highlights: Starbikers, Juniors, Seniors and Quads<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the Starbikers<\/strong> class \u2014 gathering riders from road racing, motocross and other disciplines \u2014 victory went to Britain\u2019s Stacey Storm<\/strong> (British Superbike), ahead of young Belgian Tom Rolin<\/strong> (Northern Talent Cup) and fellow Brit Davey Todd<\/strong>, winner at the Isle of Man TT.<\/p>\n

The Junior<\/strong> category saw Swiss rider Nathan Terraneo<\/strong> take a dominant win. The 2024 European SM Junior Champion confirmed his potential, ahead of Joshua Chirot<\/strong> (FRA). Belgian Jean Rondeaux<\/strong>, from Rochefort and a student of the Belgian Motorcycle Academy<\/strong>, completed the podium with an outstanding comeback ride to third place.<\/p>\n

In Seniors<\/strong>, Britain\u2019s Richard Sharp<\/strong> claimed victory, followed by Belgium\u2019s Fred Fiorentino<\/strong>, the only four-time Superbiker winner in history, and Italy\u2019s Marco Longhin<\/strong>, who rounded out the top three.<\/p>\n

The Quad<\/strong> class was once again dominated by Belgian Maxim Cluydts<\/strong>, the undisputed master of the Superquader discipline. His triumph in front of a home crowd added a special touch to this year\u2019s event.<\/p>\n

A Popular and Festive Gathering<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With over 450 riders<\/strong> on the entry list and record-breaking attendance, the Ford Steveny Superbiker<\/strong> confirmed its status as a truly unique and unmissable event. Fans were treated to a packed programme: speedway demos, kids\u2019 riding sessions, an exhibitor village, food trucks, and entertainment for all ages.<\/p>\n

True to its reputation, the event was not limited to racing. Spectators were thrilled by breathtaking stunt shows<\/strong>, and this year\u2019s programme also featured a new dance performance<\/strong> by the Leader Team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Adding to the festive spirit, Barry Baltus<\/strong> \u2014 Moto2 rider with Zelos Black Knights<\/strong> and affiliated with the RUMESM<\/strong> \u2014 attended the event to meet fans and share his passion for racing.<\/p>\n

As tradition demands, the After Race Festival<\/strong> on Friday and Saturday nights drew huge crowds, confirming once again that the Ford Steveny Superbiker<\/strong> is both a world-class racing event and a true celebration of motorcycle culture.<\/p>\n
