The Circuit Jules Tacheny in Mettet, a true stronghold of Supermoto, will once again host the opening round of the Belgian Supermoto Championship. On March 7 and 8, 2026<\/strong>, the iconic circuit will come alive with an intense weekend of racing, marked this year by a completely new and innovative format<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mettet is not just any circuit. Every year, it hosts the Ford Steveny Superbiker<\/strong>, the largest Supermoto event in the world, and offers dedicated Supermoto trackdays throughout the winter. It therefore comes as no surprise that the first round of the 2026 Belgian Championship<\/strong> will take place on this emblematic track.<\/p>\n

Two days, two rounds, two circuits<\/h3>\n

The major novelty this season is that each day will count as a separate championship round<\/strong>. Both Saturday and Sunday will feature a full programme including free practice, qualifying sessions and races.<\/p>\n

Another major highlight: the circuit layout will be different each day<\/strong>, with two configurations that are 90% different<\/strong>, something never seen before in Mettet. A first that promises to renew the spectacle, increase sporting intensity and require maximum adaptability from the riders.<\/p>\n

A major sporting event<\/h3>\n

Belgium\u2019s top riders will be present to kick off the 2026 season on a track combining technical sections and high-speed parts. This new format will raise the stakes from the very first weekend, with each day becoming a key sporting objective in its own right.<\/p>\n

Rider registrations will open soon and the list of entries will be announced on social media.<\/p>\n
