BMA Fan Day Postponed to August 31, 2025

7 July 2025

The Belgian Motorcycle Academy announces that the BMA Fan Day, originally scheduled for July 21, 2025, has been postponed to Sunday, August 31, 2025.

This change comes following the last-minute call-up of Barry Baltus for international testing sessions as part of his Moto2 World Championship season. As Barry is a key figure and a fan favorite, the organizers decided to postpone the event to ensure the full participation of all Academy riders.

“Our goal is to create a genuine moment of connection between the public and our riders. Holding the event without one of its most iconic representatives simply wasn’t an option. This postponement also allows us to enhance the Fan Day program and make it even more memorable.”
— The Belgian Motorcycle Academy Management

An Enhanced Program

The new date of August 31 coincides with the Superprestigio of Mettet, a Dirt Track event held on the Mettet oval. The BMA Fan Day will be integrated into this major event, offering visitors a full day of motorcycle-related activities, open to all enthusiasts.

The updated program includes:

  • A scenic motorcycle ride through the Mettet region
  • Demonstrations by young riders from the Belgian Motorcycle Academy
  • Meet & greet moments with the riders, including Barry Baltus
  • A lunchtime barbecue with the Academy team and riders
  • Gymkhana taster sessions available for all motorcyclists
