Cycling in complete safety
Away from traffic and motor vehicles, the Jules Tacheny circuit allows cycling in optimal safety conditions.
Once a week (Tuesday), the track is accessible to cyclists in the evening.
It is therefore not rare to see very young riders on the track. Parents know that the infrastructure offers a safe environment for cycling.
Due to its hilly profile (13m of difference in altitude), the track is also known to be selective. With its course of 2280m long and 12m wide, cyclists can ride in peloton in complete safety, without roundabouts or narrowings.
At certain times of the year, small races are organized. In mid-July 2020, an event gathered nearly 150 riders with the presence of several future cycling talents.
The price is set at 3€/session, but there are year-round subscription formulas.
The track is open to cyclists on Tuesdays from 6 pm to 9 pm, from the first week of April to the last week of September.
The local club of the Ser’velo team also offers training courses for young and old.
Children from 4-5 years old can discover cycling in complete safety.
