Circuit de Mettet - Jules Tacheny

Mettet XP unveils its full 2026 programme

24 February 2026

The season kicks off on 7–8 March with the Belgian Supermoto Championship. This opening round will have a special dimension, as two separate races will exceptionally be held on two different layouts during the same weekend. A first for Mettet, offering both riders and spectators a unique start to the season.

From 9 to 11 October, the Ford Steveny Superbiker will once again stand as the highlight of the season. A key event on the international calendar, it will gather the world’s Supermoto elite and host the final round of the FIM S1GP World Championship, where the world titles will be decided at Circuit Jules Tacheny.

On 7–8 November, the Belgian Rallycross & Cross Car Championship will return to Mettet for its season finale. The decisive round will bring together the discipline’s top specialists for a spectacular and highly accessible race weekend.

Major public events not to be missed

On 1 May, the Mettet XP Open Day returns for its second edition following the success of 2025. Designed as an accessible discovery day, the event allows the public to experience the circuit’s activities through demonstrations, initiation sessions, passenger rides and direct interaction with the people behind Mettet XP.

The 2026 edition will also host the Mettet Ambassadors Fan Day, featuring riders such as Barry Baltus, Tom Rolin and young talents from the Belgian Motorcycle Academy. The Superprestigio, a dirt track competition held on Mettet’s oval track, will further enhance the programme with a unique sporting spectacle.

On 6 September, the Mettet XP Cycling Day once again puts cycling in the spotlight, featuring the third edition of the GP Gravel, an MTB ride and activities open to all.

Finally, on 11–12 December, Mettet XMas returns for its second edition. Launched successfully in 2025, the winter event has quickly established itself as a convivial highlight of the Mettet XP calendar.

A multifunctional site active all year round

The return of these events in 2026 reflects the ambition to organise accessible and inclusive gatherings, allowing the public to experience the circuit in different ways. The success of the first editions confirms growing interest and reinforces Mettet XP’s commitment to opening its infrastructure to an ever wider audience.

Beyond its headline events, Mettet XP operates year-round as a comprehensive training and activity centre dedicated to motorcycle, car and cycling disciplines. Trackdays, advanced driving courses, corporate events and tailor-made experiences take place daily, confirming the site’s key role in Belgian motorsport and mobility development.

A year driven by passion and history

This fourth year of the RUMESM centenary celebrations marks another milestone in the site’s history. For over a century, motorsport passion has shaped Mettet’s identity. In 2026, Mettet XP continues this legacy with a programme combining heritage, innovation and accessibility.
