THE CIRCUIT GOES E-SPORT !
The Frites Project and Proximus accelerate Belgian eSport with the Fiber Frites Tour! The final will be held at the Mettet circuit.
The event is based on the Gran Turismo 7 game, under the name Fiber GT Tour.
The Fiber GT Tour will take place exclusively for Belgian residents, with a cashprize pool of €1,000, as well as prizes for Twitch viewers who are in with a chance of winning a PlayStation 5!
The grand final will be held on August 13 at the Circuit Jules Tacheny in Mettet.
The final will be broadcast on Twitch from the Circuit de Mettet, where commentators will be present, offering total immersion for spectators.
Participants in the final will have the choice of playing from home or on site, but will have to set the fastest time. A simulator will be present at the Mettet circuit!
What could be more fun than competing in a Gran Turismo final from a real racetrack?
We’ll be welcoming spectators to Mettet!
Around twenty of them will be able to attend the event from the circuit’s premises, in the company of Lan-Area staff and Frites partners. A registration form will soon be available online for this purpose.
