Circuit de Mettet - Jules Tacheny

29 August 2018

From 19 to 21 October, Mettet will once again be transformed into a temple of motorbike sport for the 32nd edition of the Superbiker. A unique and uninterrupted show on the track with fans close to the action but also outside, with crazy shows.

The historical track, which uses part of the old Mettet circuit, is unique and is unanimously appreciated by the riders and the public, who are placed very close to the action. But this route could become even more spectacular and technical with a passage under a tunnel followed by a small loop to come back in a “jump” above this tunnel. New category, new challenge

On the sporting side, it is worth noting the appearance of a Senior category (+ 45 years old) which will have its own race and its own classification, alongside the usual Junior (- 15 years old) and Open categories. The always much awaited “American style” race is back after a year’s absence.

Second edition for the Legends who will compete this year in a double challenge on the Zelos TM 300s: a supermoto race of course, like last year, but also an elimination race on the new Dirt Track circuit. And let’s not forget the fabulous show put on by the Quads and – this will be another “first” – a race or demo reserved for electric bikes.

It is of course too early to talk about the participants, but, as the tradition wants it, Supermoto specialists will rub shoulders with the best riders coming from other disciplines: speed, motocross, enduro,…
