Bicyclic Mettet XP Cycling Day powered by NRJ: a cycling day for all levels, on 27 September 2026
On Sunday 27 September 2026, the Bicyclic Mettet XP Cycling Day powered by NRJ returns to the Mettet XP site and the Circuit Jules Tacheny in Mettet. Grand Prix Gravel, MTB rides and a family ride: a day entirely dedicated to cycling, designed so that everyone can find their own route.
The Bicyclic Mettet XP Cycling Day, powered by NRJ, returns for a second edition bringing together gravel riders, mountain bikers, families and enthusiasts. On the programme, a new Grand Prix Gravel race with two distances (75 km and 115 km) and men’s and women’s categories, timed results, podiums and a prize-giving ceremony.
For mountain biking fans, there is a flexible ride with loops of 10, 15, 20 and 25 km to combine according to how you feel and the day’s form, with refreshment stops. Mapped out by the Bicyclic team, the event’s main partner and a keen connoisseur of the local terrain, the MTB routes combine the pleasure of riding, beautiful scenery and accessibility, whatever the participants’ level.
New in 2026: the family ride
For families, a 10 km ride along the region’s RAVeL greenways will allow everyone to make the most of the day, on a regular bike, mountain bike or e-bike, and free of charge for children under 12.
From gravel tracks to forest trails, from long timed distances to a relaxed ride, the event comes in several formats so that every level and every preference can find their place on the routes of the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse.
Another highlight of the day: the Bicyclic stand. As the main partner and official dealer, the brand will showcase its range of bikes, with the opportunity to try them out free of charge.
On site, everything is arranged so that riders and their companions alike simply have to enjoy themselves: food trucks, a bikewash service, mechanical assistance, medical assistance and free parking. Doors open from 7:00 a.m., with the first start of the MTB ride at 7:30 a.m.
