WANTED: FUTURE MOTORBIKE CHAMPIONS!
IS YOUR CHILD GOOD AT MOTORCYCLING? EVEN VERY GOOD? DOES HE/SHE DREAM OF BECOMING A CHAMPION AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL? NOW IS THE TIME TO REGISTER FOR THE SELECTION DAY TO TRY TO JOIN THE BELGIAN MOTORBIKE ACADEMY, A NEW PROGRAMME FOR YOUNG MOTORBIKE TALENT IN BELGIUM.
If there is one word that sums up the vocation of the Circuit Jules Tacheny, it is training! That’s why your favourite circuit has become a founding partner of the Belgian Motorcycle Academy, a new training school for our champions!
Its role? To detect, train and guide young Belgian talent between the ages of 7 and 14 towards major motorbike competitions. The new training centre runs a training programme of at least 10 days per year, mainly during weekends and school holidays.
The academicians follow advanced and supervised training in different motorbike disciplines such as trials, dirt track, supermotard, motocross and speed. Some courses focusing on communication, psychology, dietetics and physical training are also given. Among the instructors, the Academy can count on several coaches and instructors certified by the Walloon Motorcycle Federation of Belgium (FMWB), including Stéphane Mertens and Fred Fiorentino.
The Belgian Motorcycle Academy was co-founded by the Fédération Motocycliste Wallonne de Belgique (FMWB), Zelos/MIG, Circuit Jules Tacheny and the Belgian Motorcycle Foundation. The new school is recognised by DORNA and is officially integrated into their “Road to MotoGP™” programme from this year.
