The Mettet XP Open Day returns for a second edition on May 1st
Mettet XP will open its doors to the general public on Friday, May 1st, 2026, for the second edition of the Mettet XP Open Day, held at the Jules Tacheny Circuit in Mettet. This day will give visitors the opportunity to discover the wide range of activities offered by Mettet XP, as well as attend the riders’ Fan Day and the Superprestigio by CFMOTO, a dirt track competition held on the only circuit of its kind in Belgium. Admission to the event is free.
Following the success of its first edition in 2025, Mettet XP is once again hosting its Open Day and will welcome the public back on Friday, May 1st, 2026, at the Jules Tacheny Circuit. This second edition will allow visitors to explore all the activities offered by Mettet XP. The event is aimed at both motorsport enthusiasts and those curious to discover the various disciplines available on site.
On the permanent circuit, track sessions for motorcycles and cars will be organized. Passenger experiences will also be available, allowing visitors to enjoy several laps on track in a car or on a motorcycle alongside experienced riders.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in drift experiences on a specially prepared wet asphalt zone, offering a taste of the Mettet XP Precision Drive by Michaël Mazuin.
The day will also feature several demonstrations by Mettet XP ambassador riders in their respective disciplines.
After the activities dedicated to motorized vehicles, the day will continue with an evening session dedicated to cycling, giving cyclists the opportunity to ride on the Jules Tacheny Circuit in a safe environment.
Riders’ Fan Day
This edition will also host a Riders’ Fan Day, where the public will have the opportunity to meet several ambassador riders present on site, including Barry Baltus, as well as students from the Belgian Motorcycle Academy.
Superprestigio by CFMOTO on the program
The day will also be highlighted by the Superprestigio by CFMOTO, a dirt track competition held on the dedicated track. The event will bring together several riders competing in a series of heats on dirt, following a format inspired by international competitions.
An event for everyone, to enjoy with family or friends
In a friendly and festive atmosphere, numerous family activities will complement the day, ensuring that everyone can fully enjoy the event. This day is organized in support of the Belgian Motorcycle Fund, which contributes to the development and support of young Belgian riders within the Belgian Motorcycle Academy.
The Mettet XP Open Day will take place from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Mettet XP site. Some activities require prior registration. This event will highlight Mettet XP as a leading training hub across all its disciplines.
