Change of direction at the Circuit Jules Tacheny in Mettet
Pierre Gillion, current Director of the Circuit Jules Tacheny in Mettet, which he joined in August 2021, has decided to give a new direction to his career.
The RUMESM (Royal Union Entre Sambre et Meuse) would like to underline the great professionalism with which Pierre has discharged his responsibilities and wishes him all the best in the pursuit of his professional career.
Pierre will remain closely involved in the Club’s activities as a volunteer, particularly in connection with the Superbiker and/or other events organised at the Circuit Jules Tacheny.
Following this departure, the RUMESM Board has quite logically decided to promote his deputy, Simon DEMEUSE, active at the Circuit since November 2018, to become the new Circuit Director.
Freddy Tacheny, President of RUMESM/Circuit Jules Tacheny, comments: “On behalf of the Board and the teams, I would like to extend my warmest thanks to Pierre, who will remain a personal and Club friend, and to congratulate Simon on his new responsibilities. I would also like to thank Philippe Dujardin (RUMESM Heritage Manager) and Heikki Sermon (Director of Mettet Expériences and the Belgian Motorcycle Academy), who will be supporting Simon in his new role.
The change will take effect from October 15.
